Street Quest crashed
I ran 6K this morning but when I got home Street Quest had just stopped, and I didn't get my points! That's the second time this happened.
I did a quest 'just running' trying to score some points! It was really frustrating I didn't get any for my efforts.
Hi,
we are currently investigating this issue, and do our best to at least recover your points and fix it in the next Streetquest version.
If you were so kind to send us crash report by clicking such button when it happens or a log from your phone which is associated with that bug. You can use a variety of applications to get the log, for example alogcat.
To do so:
1. Download alogcat from Play Store.
2. Open it. You will see logs from your phone.
3. Minimize it by pressing home button.
4. Open Streetquest and proceed to next screens.
5. When error will occur open alogcat app once again. Open menu and choose save. Log associated with a bug will be saved in memory.
5. Now you have to find the file with log (which is located in sdcard/alogcat directory) and send it to us (streetquestteam@gmail.com).
We will be grateful for your help.

Status vanishing
Hi,
From the database I can see that:
1. most probably the quest was not closed normally, eg. either the application crashed or was killed - therefore you didn't get any points
2. you have run at least 1.3 km (0.8 mi)
In order to quick fix that I:
1. restored your points for that distance (165),
2. gave you 50 bonus points as an apology.

Joining Event takes to long - Android
For me joining an event on android takes to long. Sometimes I had to wait a minute or more until I've joined. This happens even within WLAN, so it seems not a problem of data throughput.
Joining on iOS works much faster...
Is this a known problem or just something with my phone? (SGS2, 4.1.2)

Please, take a look at time needed to join an event in newest android release. We made some modifications. Is it any better on your phone?
Streetquest jest aktualnie jeszcze w fazie beta, jednak robimy co w naszej mocy, aby takie przypadki się nie zdarzały. Od najbliższej wersji informacje o trasie i statystykach oraz punkty powinny zostać zapamiętane nawet w przypadku błędu/zawieszenia się aplikacji.
Za zaistniałą sytuację przepraszamy jednak chcielibyśmy dodać, że trening nigdy nie idzie na straty :)
Sugestii kilka biegacza zwykłego
Witam.
Po kolejnych kilka dniach biegania z StreetQuest:
1. Przydały by się komunikaty głosowe. (Przydatne bo nie zawsze jest możliwość spojrzenia na telefon czy już się zakończył ten event czy jeszcze zostało 2min)
2. Wykluczanie ze statystyk niemożliwych statystyk (wyszło mi masło maślane) w stylu że ktoś biega szybciej aniżeli Kenijczycy. (Wykluczenie oszustów, bo jest to zabawa dla biegaczy a nie rowerzystów itp.)
3.W aplikacji zamiast zakładki "Newsy" dać zakładkę "Statystyki" a newsy przenieść do małej ikonki 'powiadomień' między nutką od muzyki a ikoną opcji. (Statystyki są ważniejsze moim skromnym zdaniem ;) )
PS. Albo ogólnie lekko bym pozamieniał te zakładki, w sumie mam pomysł ale to by trzeba było rozrysować ;)
4. Na mapie podczas aktywności włączyć domyślnie by nasza 'postać' była na środku ekranu i dodanie przycisku do auto-podążania. O co mi chodzi? O to że na razie trzeba ręcznie przesuwać palcem mapę gdyż jak wybiegniemy poza teren w którym zaczęliśmy aktywność to nie wiemy gdzie jesteśmy.
5. Dodanie przycisków oddalanie/przybliżanie na mapie. Wiem że jest możliwość robienia tego szczypnięciem jednak nie jest to najwygodniejsze podczas biegu.

1. zaplanowane na najblizszy czas

4. z tego co się orientuję nasza postać jest na środku, ale jak się bawimy mapą to trzeba kliknąć przycisk znajdujący się w lewym dolnym rogu mapy (tak, jest malo widoczny, będzie lepiej)
5. yes, wprowadzone zostanie razem z polepszeniem widocznosci przycisku z pkt 4.
I want to play with my friends who use iOS
My iPhone buddies want to play, too. But unfortunately, they can't.
IPhone version is under development and will be released in a few months (spring 2013)
Android App crashes after startup

Hi, as per subject, the app immediately kicks me back to the main screen after I choose a fraction on the phone. Can't send a bug report from the app itself as it simply crashes. Not sure if I can offer you any further information other than this. Please advise?

Event chronics high score
Would be cool to get the town and the country high score too on a past event (not only the user). Something like in the live event.

Indeed in the current version daily and global stats are refreshed after a (short) while.
According to your suggestion in the next version we will change it to perform synchronization faster.
